Flowers, fruit, and the living world up close — Kate Ferrell's botanical paintings are rooted in the same place she is: a deep love of color, the memory of her mother's garden, and a belief that ordinary, growing things are worth lingering over.
This collection spans expressive floral arrangements and sun-warmed still lifes, from the loose, joyful energy of the Funky Flower series to the layered, light-filled florals of Morning Light and the quiet intimacy of A Feeling of Beginnings. Lemons- bright and unhurried- are a reminder to notice the beauty in everyday things. Each piece is an original, hand-painted mixed media work — alive with texture, pattern, and intention.

Kate is a Nashville-based artist whose work has been shown in juried exhibitions across Tennessee, Georgia, and the Carolinas, and is currently showing at Shain Gallery in Charlotte, NC.
